In Rio Travel in groups of two or more if possible, especially at night. Walking around solo at night increase chance of endangerment. When crossing intersections, look both ways twice! Especially on busy streets. Cars appear out of nowhere! Pedestrians do not have the right of way in Brazil. Please look even if the light is red. When walking around be aware of the packs of childern calling you amigo or amiga. They are quick to pickpocket the unexpected. So expect everything Note: If you have any extra food after meals, please give to the childern rather then let it go to waste.
