Brasil has some incredible beaches that stretch for miles and miles along the Atlantic coastline. Unfortuneately I havent had the opportunity to travel outside of the Copacabana and Ipanema beach areas. However next trip I guarantee more info.

The Copa' is a cool crescent shaped beach stretching for miles and miles. Beautiful women and men. I mean stunning looking! The myth that Copacabana is a topless beach is untrue. Brasilieras cover top and bottom. A very small area, butt they usually do not go topless.

Everything you can imagine or need is there. U don't need to move. Rental chairs, umbrellas, food and drink vendors galore.

The major minus I found at Copa' is the unfortuneate litter which sometime washes ashore. Nothing toxic. I hope. Just looks bad.

Ipanema is a little more family oriented and has a large gay population. And it is defineatly a cleaner beach. And of course anything you need is right there.
